One more reason to get involved with our children's education.

My little sprout sleeps with his eyes open and smiles at me through his dreams.

There's nothing better than hearing M sing Jimmy Hendrix lyrics to Ohli.  He never ceases to amaze me and make me fall in love with him a little bit more everyday.  Who knew Michael knew all the words to "1983...A Merman I Should I Turn To Be."  This would be reason #977 why I love him so.

It's overcast here today and we're expecting rain, possibly thunderstorms.  It's O's first thunderstorm and it's March 7th.  That seems a bit early to me.  I noticed today that our neighbors have crocus blooming and my allergies are crazy.  I think I've sneezed 30 times today and that might even be an understatement.  Baby O is taking his nap next to me.  He's such a great kid.  He's been sleeping through the night since about week 5.  He falls asleep between 9 and 10PM and wakes up around 6AM for breakfast.  Then it's back to sleep for an early morning nap, then up for snacks around 10:30.  Then another cat nap and then lunch.  That's when I come home from work.  He's just the best little guy.  It's hard to know how much influence we have.  I guess that's the ultimate question as a parent.  How much do we influence our kids?  I sure know he influences me.  Maybe that's really what it's all about.  Maybe they find us, choose us, whatever, and maybe they are here to teach us what they know.  They know simplicity.  They know basic needs.  Every morning he wakes up so happy.  He doesn't care about the economic crisis or the wars or the climate.  He's just awake and happy to see us.  It's all about love.  Can there be a better lesson to learn than that?
